Jaguar Unveils Two Special Editions of the XK Sports car is a post from:

Jaguar XK Signature

Drivers of sports cars in the United Kingdom will soon have two special edition models from which to choose.  Jaguar, the multinational manufacturer headquartered in Whitley, Coventry, will release two stunning versions of its XK model, the Signature, a vehicle that focuses on luxury, and the performance-based Dynamic R.

Both cars have powerful engines. The Signature features a 385PS 5.0-litre V8 engine that reaches 60 mph in 5.2 seconds in the Coupe version, and in 5.3 seconds for the Convertible, and a top speed of 155 mph. The Dynamic R has additional power with a 510 PS 5.0-litre supercharged V-8 engine that gives drivers a more performance-based driving experience. Top speed for the Dynamic R is 174 mph, going from 0 to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds. The addition of Active Differential Control has improved this model’s cornering traction, while the Speed Pack aerodynamic upgrades, featuring a bigger rear spoiler and front splitter, and Performance Active Exhaust, lessen unpleasant emissions and make for a better overall driving experience. Six-speed automatic ZF transmission is standard in both, while the Signature has a mechanical differential that brings improved stability and grip during acceleration.

Design is upscale in both cars. Each has double wishbone suspension and a new steering knuckle that Jaguar indicates gives greater levels of connection, feedback and precision. Both models have interesting interior details, particularly the Diamond Sewn Performance Seat. Customers may choose from either the ivory/charcoal soft grain leather with ivory contrast stitch or charcoal/red soft grain leather with red contrast stitch leather. 20-inch Vortex alloy wheels are standard, with the choice of upgraded 20-inch Takoba alloy wheels on the Signature, while the Dynamic R has 20-inch Vulcan Gloss Black lightweight alloy wheel option.

The Dynamic R starts at 69,950, while the Signature comes at 54,950. Both Coup and Convertible forms will be available beginning in March.
